Hello everyone,
As this is the first posting for a blog that will be about literature, specifically Children's and Young Adult, let's start with an introduction about the focus and intent of this blog.
There are so many conversations that I want to have with my students, my colleagues and my friends about books. This will be a really great way to talk to you all at once and get your important feed back as well.
I will be posting thoughts about books I have been reading and I welcome comments, suggestions and questions from all of you.

One of my favorite books from last year was Sleeping Freshman Never Lie... by Lubar. GREAT book for middle school and high school students. VERY very funny. It's so rare to read a book that is funny without being dirty. Great book to recommend. --
